Christianity is about relationships - Not "Religion"

 

Relating To God

	Only through Jesus are we saved, and become children of God.
	God communicates through his Word.
	Christ is in us and we are in him - the Spirit-Filled life.
	Prayer, as 2-way communication with God.
	A daily relationship with Christ as Lord - evidenced in our lives.

 

 

 

 

Relating to Christians

	Unity of the Spirit - essential prerequisite for evangelism.
	Fellowship in love - so attractive that it draws others.
	Mutual accountability.
	Involvement in the life of the church - use of gifts.

 

 

 

 

Relating to Non - Christians

	God loves them, so we must too.
	Cultivating relationships is essential.
	Obligation to share a verbal witness.
	Individually, and as a church, we must be involved in the community.
	Global concern - Missions is a mandate.

 

 

 

 

Growth

Growth comes from God, but we must work to strengthen, broaden, and deepen all these relationships to expect God to bring growth.
