Education & Growth

Sunday School classes meet from 8:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. every Sunday morning from the second week of September through the third week of May. We would love to have you participate with our adults, children and youth classes as we study God's word.  Our last Sunday before a summer break will be May 21st and Sunday School will begin again on September 10, 2023.

We also have several small groups that you are welcome to participate in.

 College and Adult Sunday School

The College and Adult Class is led by our deacons and meets in the sanctuary. The Gospel Project for Adults takes men and women on a chronological, Christ-centered journey through the storyline of Scripture. Participants will encounter God’s plan of redemption in Scripture through study of the biblical narrative, the essential doctrines of the faith, and the call to join in God’s mission locally and around the world.

Small Groups will begin again in January 2024

You are welcome to join a small group at Hunters Ridge Community Church. The reason for small groups is to build stronger relationships, grow in our ability to care for one another and most importantly grow in greater depth with the truth of the word of God.

If you would like to be a part of a group, please contact the church office.

Small Groups being offered are:

The Gospel Centered Life, led by Gary Van De Steeg, meets the first and third Monday of each month at 6:30 pm.

The Invisible War, led by Galen Houk, meets the first and third Sunday of each month after church.

Men’s Group, led by Ben Stritesky, meets Saturdays at 9:00 am at the church in the Fellowship Hall.

Ladies Bible Study -

Ladies, you are invited to join us for our Fall Bible Study, Ruth; Love, Loss & Legacy, on Thursdays at noon or 7pm, beginning on October 12th.  Do you trust God to write happy endings?  We all struggle through seasons of bitterness, tears, and loss, wondering if there could ever be a happy ending to our stories.  The story of Ruth affirms that yes, there is hope for you, and it is found in the power and protection of a Sovereign God who never takes His eyes off you for even a moment!  In this 7-session study we'll examine Ruth's journey of unbearable loss, redeeming love, and divine legacy.  Please  contact the church office for registration information.
